The process

I'm Nadia,

a passionate polyglot, writer and wedding officiant, personalizing ceremonies in Cancun and the Riviera Maya since 2018. I believe your wedding should be an authentic and personal expression of the connection between the two of you, rather than following traditional norms and hierarchies.

Having performed over 300 wedding ceremonies, I never shy away from the opportunity to try something new or out of the ordinary.

As an officiant, I never take on a position of authority, but rather act as a facilitator, creating a space where the focus is on the genuine feelings and emotional experience of each couple. I believe that your wedding ceremony should reflect your personalities, shared values, and of course, your LOVE!

Whether you are looking for a traditional wedding or something more unconventional, I am eager to hear your ideas and turn your wedding dreams into reality. Whether it is a culturally specific ceremony, same-sex marriage, intimate elopement, or grand celebration, I strive to capture the most authentic expression of who you are as a couple. From themed weddings and destination ceremonies to vow renewals and unique rituals, my goal is to create a meaningful and personalized experience that reflects your love story.

How does it work?

  • Step One: First Meeting

    In person or via video call, this is a great opportunity for us to talk about your wedding plans and expectations. You can see what I do and what I offer. This is when you can decide if you would like me to be your officiant. I would love to marry you!

  • Step two: We move forward

    If you decide I'm the one (well, the other one), with a signed contract and a confirmed deposit, I'll send you a questionnaire. You'll each receive one, filled with fun and insightful questions about your relationship, so I can really get a feel for your love story.

  • Step Three: I Write Your Story

    Now it's time to have our deep and meaningful meeting! We'll have a video call to go over what you'd like to include or not include in your ceremony. We can discuss vows, poems, music, and any rituals you'd like. Then it's my turn to work my magic!

  • Step Four: We Keep in Touch

    Don't worry, we will talk about it a lot and you can contact me by phone, email, Zoom, etc. We will work together to make sure your wedding ceremony meets your expectations and everything goes perfectly.

  • Step Five: The Big Day

    I will arrive at the venue 30 minutes before the ceremony starts to check the last details with your wedding planner, musicians, photographer, etc. We will celebrate your union and I will provide you with a wedding book after the ceremony (including the entire script so you can relive it whenever you want).

  • What else?

    I am always available for you. I am relaxed, professional and easy to talk to.

    I always dress in a manner and style that complements your wedding party, colors and type of occasion. My presentation will be first class.

    I always arrive at the venue 30 minutes before the ceremony, which will last between 30 and 40 minutes.

    I also know where to stand during the ceremony to help you get the best photos possible. The last thing you want is a floating head in the middle of your first kiss photo!

THE RATE INCLUDES:

KICK-OFF MEETING: Coffee is on me!

THE ENTIRE INVESTIGATION PROCESS: This covers meetings, interviews, and sending forms to the couple and possibly friends or family.

WRITING AND DELIVERING THE CEREMONY: Gathering and curating information, deciding how your story will be told, crafting a central message for you and your guests, traveling to your event, and officiating the ceremony.

CEREMONY SCRIPT: Provided either printed on paper or as a PDF, allowing you to relive the special moments whenever you wish.

A non-refundable 50% deposit confirms your reservation (date/time) with me.

Your reservation and date are only confirmed once payment is made, and I begin working for you once the deposit is received.

With the signed contract and confirmed advance payment (non-refundable deposit), I will send you an information package that includes:

A beautiful e-book that includes a guide to writing your vows, poems, music, and other helpful ideas.

An additional fee can be discussed if the ceremony location is not in Cancun, or if the venue charges extra for my access.
